Bill Cismar OMRRA #7 -

SHORT TERM OBJECTIVE:

To Promote my sponsors and Motorcycling and motorcycle racing as a sport during the 2006 season with a professional, consistent, and friendly presence at wide variety of motorcycle races and events.

Roadrace: Develop my 01 Aprilia Mille to challenge in the Open Twins Class primarily, and in the 750 Super Bike and Open Super bike grids as supporting classes.

PSSR and Motocorsa Track Days: Continue to teach beginner and intermediate riders the art of riding a motorcycle at speed with control, confidence and grace.

OMRRA NRC: Last year I handed off the course I created to allow more time to spend more time and energy on my personal race program. I will continue to consult for the Oregon Motorcycle Road Racing Associations Novice Race Course, teaching new racers the how to integrate themselves into the sport and represent themselves and the racing community in a favorable light.

LONG TERM OBJECTIVE:

To continue to compete and improve in all disciplines of motorcycle racing while continuing to garner the respect of my peers and fellow competitors through sportsmanship and stiff competition.

To continue to reach and teach new riders so that they may ride as many miles and years as I have, building enduring friendships and memories to pass to the next generations of riders.

RACING EXPERIENCE:

PERSONAL:

I learned to ride at 5yrs of age while living in Alaska. The nearest neighbor was more than a mile away and bears were common in the surrounding woods. It was simply safer to ride a noisy and faster motorcycle than it was to ride a bicycle. I’ve rarely been more than a few months off a motorcycle since then, racking up more than 43 years of riding experience both on and off road.
